1. Upload — drag-drop or click in the feature image field. Max 20MB input.
2. Convert — automatically converted to WebP (max 1200px wide, 82% quality, EXIF rotation corrected)
3. Push — uploaded to GitHub via Contents API
   • Hugo: static/images/posts/{date}-{slug}-{uid}.webp
   • Astro: public/images/posts/{date}-{slug}-{uid}.webp
4. Front matter — /images/posts/filename.webp written to feature_image automatically

Existing images

In advanced mode, the image uploader shows a gallery of existing images in your repo. Click any image to select it as the feature image without uploading again.

File naming

Images are named automatically:
